*Description:*

*Role Summary:  *

Data Analyst (DA) will provide professional system analysis and analytical
skills on Master Data Management (MDM) and/or Siebel projects.  The DA will
analyse data gaps, define delimitations and testing; this could include
participating in converting and mapping of legacy system data to company
standards or industry standards. Responsibilities also include
participating in the data integrity initiative and working with end users
to follow through with associated action items. The Analyst will help to
enforce data integrity, research and document data mapping from source to
target systems, and assist with data modelling as necessary. They also will
be working closely with business users to verify data requirements and
assess needs.



*Responsibilities: *

•                     Mapping Data in Source Legacy systems to a logical
data model and writing the business transformation rules for this

•                     Assist in the delivery of end to end application
solution components on time and within budget that meets the stated
business needs, and conforms to IT methodologies and Data Management
practices

•                     Assists in the successful implementation of projects
and timely service of production applications

•                     Assists or creates Project Documentation / SOX
artifacts (e.g., Functional Design Document / Functional Requirements
Document) that meet SDLC standards



*Required Skills: *

•                     Interpret business requirements to develop functional
or data requirements

•                     Collaborate with other technology and development
staff to provide solution alternatives that ensure key deliverables are
achieved

•                     Document the functional requirements, design, and
testing information to ensure quality output that meets stated business
needs

•                     Create and modify technical processes, designs, and
solutions, as required

•                     Identify and support resolution of risks that could
impact ability to deliver results within the stated objectives



*Desired Skills: *

•                     Strong experience in Data Analysis, with the ability
to work closely with the business to translate their requirements into data
requirements

•                     Experience working on MDM projects strongly preferred

•                     Strong fundamental understanding of project
management, specifically in the SDLC and Agile methodologies

•                     Ability to write PL/SQL scripts to perform data
refreshes from one system to another or run data queries

•                     Ability to identify and map source and target data
fields

•                     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•                     Breadth of knowledge across CRM platforms – i.e. ‘On
Premise’ solutions vs. Hosted/Cloud-based solutions

•                     Will need to be available for weekend implementations
(scheduled every other month).



*Required Skills*

•                     BS in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, and/or
relevant work experience (foreign degree equivalent accepted)

•                     3+ years of Data Analyst experience

•                     3+ years of experience working with DataStage,
Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server Databases, SQL

•                     3+ years of experience with Siebel 7 and 8

•                     Experience with Siebel Tools

•                     Experience with Agile, Scrum, Iterative, or Waterfall
Development and project methodologies

•                     Siebel OpenUI knowledge a plus

•                     Excellent negotiation, facilitation and listening
skills

•                     Skilled in Microsoft Visio
