our client for *Linux System Admin. * *New Albany, OH*. Please find below

*Position: Linux System Admin. *

*Location: New Albany, OH*

*Duration: 6 Months *



*Description:*

• Design, implement, and administer store systems hardware, including POS,
peripherals, and mobile devices
• Provide third-tier support for issues encountered with store systems
• Package and deploy third party applications
• Improve process efficiency through reporting, scripting, and automation
• Open and troubleshoot issues with business partners
• Build and maintain working relationships with A&F internal and external
business partners
• Creating documentation to facilitate system design and support
• Provide assistance as a technical resource for Store Systems projects

*Qualifications:*
• 2 years’ experience with Linux server/desktop administration
• 2 years’ experience with vendor management
• 2 years’ experience with 3rd party application management
• 1 year experience with common Linux scripting (BASH, Perl, Python)
• 1 year experience with mobile device management (iOS, Android, Win
Mobile)
• Possess fundamental knowledge of LAN topology and protocols
• Experience managing Windows and SUSE Linux server-based software a plus
• Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fact paced environment
• Effective verbal, telephone, written and interpersonal communication
skills
• Strong personal time management skills
• Excellent technical, analytical, and customer service skills
• Experience with IT security best practices a plus (SarbOx, PCI)
• Technical experience in a retail environment a plus
