Hi,

I have a Workbook where I use VBA function to compare two imported tables
consisting of around 10,000 rows (plus or minus). It takes around 90
seconds at the moment. But with the number of rows set to gradually to
increase in the future, the client is starting to complain.

I need to improve the performance, so I am looking at creating an Add-in
probably using C or C++. But, after reading up on the topic for a few
weeks, I am confused. There seems to be many options I can choose from (and
there may be even more, I don't know about):

- Create an XLL using C/C++

- Create a VB COM Add-in implementing the IDTExensibility2 interface

-  Create a C++ COM Add-in implementing the IDTExensibility2 interface

-  Create a C/C++ Add-in using the OLE 2 IDispatch Interface

But which is the right one? Can anyone suggest the best path to follow to
get the best results?

Thanks

Jimmy
