Client looking someone who turned from Java to Hadoop

Mid to senior level experience Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Mapreduce etc
Exp with Java , Javascript
Experience with optimizing databases and performing complex tuning tasks
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Participate with business and engineering team members in the development
of new software projects.
Develop application specifications and designs which are scalable,
extensible, maintainable and testable
Build systems, libraries, and frameworks within, around, and on top of
Hadoop
Utilize frameworks and extensions to Hadoop such as Hive, HBase
Design and implement Map/Reduce jobs to support distributed data processing
Process large data sets utilizing our Hadoop cluster

Preference- Citizen’s or GC’s and Local’s

1. 6-8 years of IT industry experience
2. Hands-on experience in J2EE and related frameworks like Struts, ORM
(Hibernate) and Spring Security
3. Exposure to RIA tools like Dojo, jQuery, ExtJS desirable
4. Experience of developing (/ integrating) enterprise class applications
or products using J2EE and middleware technologies (IBM ESB MB/WTX)
5. Should be familiar with tools for SCM, defect tracking and deployment
6. Experience of working in onshore-offshore model preferred
