I have data by day for an entire year. A date in column A, the weekday
(Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.) in column B and a value in column C.

Somewhere else on the spreadsheet, let's say D1, I enter the weekday into
the cell. I would the like a chart to ONLY use the rows in the entire
table that have that particular weekday in column B. I've learned some
about dynamic charting using OFFSET but that won't help me here because
OFFSET only picks one row. Is there a way to chart multiple rows, e.g. all
Tuesdays, not using pivots or filters. Can I use an array
(SHIFT-CTRL-ENTER) or the "--" option in a SERIES function? Here's an
example:

   A B C
1 1/1/2013 Tue 2045
2 1/2/2013 Wed 12
3 1/3/2013 Thu 343
4 1/4/2013 Fri 51
5 1/5/2013 Sat 98
6 1/6/2013 Sun 99
7 1/7/2013 Mon 2732
8 1/8/2013 Tue 22
9 1/9/2013 Wed 32
10 1/10/2013 Thu 56
11 1/11/2013 Fri 65
12 1/12/2013 Sat 298
13 1/13/2013 Sun 399
14 1/14/2013 Mon 2632
15 1/15/2013 Tue 622

If I enter "Tue" into D1, then I want the chart to only graph the following:
1/1/2013 Tue 2045
1/8/2013 Tue 22
1/15/2013 Tue 622

Is that possible? If so, how?

Thanks again!
Christoph
