Event macros do NOT go in "standard" modules. Your change event must be in the Sheet module for the sheet you wish the event to "monitor".
If you want it to apply to ALL sheets, then a variation must go in the Thisworkbook module. If you right-click the sheet "tab" and select "View Code", the sheet module will open. If you select "WorkSheet" in the left-hand pull-down in the Editor window, an empty SelctionChange event will be created. If you then open the right-hand pull-down (in the Editor Window) it will show you the available event macros. Selecting "Change" will create your Worksheet_Change event macro.
