Subject: $$Excel-Macros$$ If condition limitation.
Hi All
I have a tracker with almost 10 condition to be tasted. All condition is
shown as header, for case 1 when first event is completed then date of
completion is put under 1st header and under status for case 1 value to be
reflected is description of header 1.
When second event is completed then under header 2 date of completion is
mention and status is replaced with description of header 2 and so on.
So in column A all event name is mentioned, col B is status col. And from
column C to column L header 1 to 10 is mentioned.
Eg. Value of cell A2 is Case North Port and now description of column C to Z
header is START, EMAIL SENT, REPLY recd and so on.
So when case is logged in date is mention under START header i.e. In cell.
C2 we put date of email sent. So status in Cell B2 will show as START.
Now when email is sent cell D2 will be updated with date of email sent and
Cell B2 should show status as Email Sent.
I tried applyin if condition since we are using excell 2003 not more than 7
nesting of if is used.
Any alternate way out for the same.
Rgds
Vaibhav.
