Dear Forum member, I have been an avid reader of this forum and have interacted with a few of you at a personal level. I enjoy reading some contribution during my free time and admire the creativity by some members. Spam was getting to me, to the point that I thought of leaving the group. In that sense this move is a welcome step.
We, as members also need keep in mind that people post spam because we are unable ignore them. Each time a group member replies, even requests the moderator to ban the member, they are helping the spammer get the eyeball. We are unknowingly giving them the attention. We need to ignore them so that posting spam become futile for the spammer, atleast not circulate it further even if it is to highlight it. Let's wait for the moderators to observe and ban the member from our beloved group.
