It's not easy to say, what with all the changes in that side of the world, but we have to agree that computation in a spreadsheet will remain as long as industries and scenarios need analysis and data interpretation. So I am assuming Excel will be one of the leading spreadsheet application.
If VBA isn't there, something will be there that will be similar. And as software evolves, people evolve. So, I for one, don't tend to be apprehensive about changes, or rather, potential changes, such as those.
