I need to trap PageSetup settings to determine if the active worksheet can be printed programmatically. (Note that I'm not asking how to change them - if they are not within reason, the active sheet will not be printed.) I thought the following line of code would result in "xlPortrait" or "xlHorizontal", or a numeric value associated with each: MsgBox ActiveSheet.Name & " Orientation = " & Application.ActiveSheet.PageSetup.Orientation However, regardless of which way the Orientation is set, the MsgBox always shows "1". I guess this means the orientation is set, but does not indicate which way. How can I pop-up a message box indicating the Orientation? I'm using Excel 2007, Windows 7. Thanks in advance, Mike
