This works fine in the spreadsheet:
=SUBSTITUTE(HYPERLINK(CONCATENATE(statics!$A$1,B2), "Link"), " ","")
However I cannot escape the quotes correctly or something. I've tried every
combination and nothing.

ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = _
"=SUBSTITUTE(HYPERLINK(CONCATENATE(statics!R1C1,RC[-11]), ""Link""), " ",
"")"

I just added the SUST part. It was this and worked fine too.
" =HYPERLINK(CONCATENATE(statics!R1C1,RC[-11]), ""Link"")"
