I have attached a sample file to show what i mean. I have managed to copy the grouped objects from a single slide. However the complication arrises when I have to copy and collate the objects when they are on different slides. i.e. if i want to copy object 1 and 2 from slide 1 and 9 and 10 from slide 2 and paste them onto a new slide in a new presentation.
