Subject: $$Excel-Macros$$ Reading custom format as it appears in a cell

I have an excel file each cell may have different custom formats such as
"000000000000000" or "094010100000000" or "008010000000000" etc. I would like
to count number of characters in each cell. If I use len() function it
retreives the length as it appears in the formula bar and not the maked
characters by custom format.
Please tell me how to read masked characters by custom format.

Thanks & Regards,
Ravi Kumar Vandavasi
