It is more to do with the single thread working of VBA. Your code execution
will always be sequential, and that the limitation that many VBA developers
have a grudge about.

Coming to your original request, you could use a marquee using HTML,
embedded in to a user form. I am not sure if an HTML object can be embedded
on a sheet, but I have seen it work on a user form.
