Hello all: I am the owner of a small business in Texas and we are launching a new branch of service in our marketplace. Ultimately I plan to have some custom built software made to provide a long term solution. However we aren't there yet. We have been through the custom software process before and because this is a new service, I'm not ready for that yet. So in the meantime we plan to use excel.
I don't have the time, skill nor the inclination to learn how to write my own Macros to help streamline the processes I have in mind for what I want excel to do. I'm seeking both counsel and offers to help. We've been in business for over 20 years and I've owned this company for over 15. My thoughts are that I can send you what I'm working with, we can correspond back and forth and I can let you know what I need my excel spreadsheet to do and you can write the code necessary and email it back. This is certainly a Work-In-Progress so I would anticipate a few rewrites and directional changes (hence the aversion to a big software build at this time) In terms of payment we can work out either a per-macro fee or something that slides based upon the complexity of each macro. I'm not sure how its done but I'm sure we can figure it out. If you might be interested, feel free to respond and we'll get the ball rolling.
