This may SEEM like a simple request, but it is WAY too involved to complete simply. There a MANY, MANY questions that need to be answered in order to BEGIN.
First of all, Network Administrators can easily create reports of this type of activity. The Windows Authentication process logs each network connection request and termination. (they may not be KEEPING these logs, which could be requested) If (as in my company) the Network Admin people do not wish to SHARE this information, it IS possible to interrogate the PC's Event logs and attempt to locate the necessary events. But this is done on each workstation. If the users log into different workstations, and you wish to pull the information from these machines, you will have to have Admin privileges on each machine. There are software packages, both Free and can be purchased, that can do this nicely. However, the software must be run by someone with Admin privileges. A somewhat simpler approach to collect the data beginning NOW is to create login/logout procedures/scripts for the environment. These are standard scripts that are created by Network Admins and execute whenever a user logs in or out. It's possible that your company already has these, and it would be a matter of adding a few lines of code that would append the necessary info to a text file that you could interrogate. Again, it requires the cooperation of the Network Administrator(s).
