Hi Ashish,

I don't have the answer for you, but perhaps these thoughts will be helpful
(especially if dynamically modifying macros is not practicle) --

You can do virtually anything you can do in macros, in VBA. and faster.

As I recall, the DoCmd object has methods for most of the macro commands.
RunCommand also now applicable.

It's been many years since I worked in Access, but I in 2000 and prior, I
would mostly just use macros for an AutoExec action (but that can be done
with code in a Startup form) or sometimes AutoKeys for application-wide
shortcut keys (don't know what other easy methods there are to implement
that.)

You can dynamically create VBA procedures if you really must, and you can
execute a string of functions dynamically with Eval (if your needs go beyond
the built-in functions, have your string call functions that you write that
do what you need).

Finally, you can ask for advice in an Access forum/list :) such as ACCESS-L
or the Microsoft newsgroup/forum.

Best of luck,

Asa

Subject: $$Excel-Macros$$ MS ACCESS MACRO HELP

Hi Friends,

Remember 3 years back, I started solving your MS Excel & VBA queries, today
I need your expertise in MS Access.

Issue: Using the VBA sub-routine, I would like to modify the 'MS Access
Macro Object'. If not modification, let me know about if we could create the
'MS Access Macro object'?

Please note, here macro is not VBA code but MS Access object like tables,
forms, reports etc.

Regards

Ashish Jain
