Select the cells which requires the formatting to be done and in Format Cells --> Custom, Please type *#,* to convert numbers in thousands and so on Option 1 = If base data is 1000000000 - type *#,* in Format Cells --> Custom.. The result will be 1000000 Option 2 = If base data is 1000000000 - type *#,,* in Format Cells --> Custom.. The result will be 1000 Option 3 = If base data is 1000000000 - type *#,#,* in Format Cells --> Custom.. The result will be 1,000,000 Option 4 = If base data is 1000000000 - type *#,#,,* in Format Cells --> Custom.. The result will be 1,000 Option 5 = If base data is 1000000000 - type *#,#,,,* in Format Cells --> Custom..
