I m interested in learning macros don.only reason i m asking repeatedly is this situation will be very helpful for me in my work.i just want the workbook to update sheets as and when a new row is updated in the main worksheet.
I need to see the whole details when demanded in my work.the example you had provided is exactly the same i required.only change needed is that when a new row is added it should go to the exact worksheet(REP based). Oh my God!!!! now i understood why you people are offering me different solutions when i m explaining it in clarity.I had used the pivot table in the main sheet just to check whether all the rows updated are exactly the same.(counting no of rows).thats it. i had studied a little bit on searching in this forum.and learnt that i need to use the Worksheet Change Event.is it exactly the same don which i need to use....
