thanks for ur reply. but wat does F9 key do. if i press it manually on any workbook without having macro. wat is my understanding of your code is you are jus pressing F9 key using sendkey function. So you are pressing F9 key using macro but if i press it manually without macro then it shud do what your macro is doing. please correct me if i m wrong.
