The command you're looking for is SaveCopyAs I would create a BeforeSave event, there, save the file locally, then define the "backup" location, unprotect the file, then save a copy at the backup location.

I also need to save it without a password into a management drive to allow my manager to access it without the need for a password. Currently i do this in two separate operations, idally on save I would like it to just save in the two separate folders. I can write basic macros but do not have the time to dig into vba.
