Attached is the sample file for your reference.. hope it meets ur
requirements to the nearest...


You simply have to put the total stock in cell A2 and the stock requirements
for the respective Branches in the cells B2,C2 and D2.. etc. The values will
automatically get updated in the highlighted summary(orange color)...

I've used conditional formatting for indicating the Branch where  the stock
requirement is more(it will be highlighted in red color) and lastly, I've
used a small macro to pop up a message whenever the total stock is less than
the required stock. So, whenever the value in cell A7 is negative i.e less
than 0 a message will pop up  saying *"Your Stock is less than what is
needed, Please Distribute Accordingly"*.
