Hi,
If you are using xl2007 or more, you can use the IFERROR function.
In your case, I think the syntax would go something like this:
=IFERROR(INDIRECT(A1&"D$65")*1,"Linked Workbook not open!")
But I don't have XL2007 here to check it.
