I'm not as good at VBA as I'd like to be and I especially thank you for taking the time to explain each step, I found it very helpful!
Pertaining to the unique name problem, I looked but was unable to find a way to add a letter at the end of the date, starting with B going up to M (though if I get this far there is more problems than what the sheet will do!)
