EnableEvents = FALSE will cause the events to be turned off. When it is off, changes will NOT cause the event handler macro to run.
That sounds like what you wanted. But your description sounded like you might want OTHER event macros to continue to run. I guess I'll need a more detailed description for how you WANT it to work.
