To break the links, record yourself doing a find and find next.
Search for [
Put that in a loop.
Insert in the code a copy, paste special value for that cell and then
search for the next one.
Eventually, the loop will end when it can't find [

Or if you are advanced enough in VBA  you can use the specialcells
property and next through them.
