Hi ScubaGirl A Function returns a value by assigning a value to its name in one or more statements of the procedure. The return type of a Function is always a Variant, unless you specified the type e.g. Public Function CalcResourceUtilization() as Boolean
If you had some statement within your function such as "CalcResourceUtilization = True" then the return value can be used... You did not specify any type (thus it returns a Variant) and you did not specify any Return Value (with statement CalcResourceUtilization = ...) then the return is EMPTY and in case you try to use this, it may generate that error: the type of the return value is not compatible with the operation or assignment you do at calling point... Good luck. Let me know if this helps you. Greetings Paul Willekens -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some important links for excel users: 1.
