I've struggled with this one for several years. I finally did come across a VBS (Visual Basic Script) version that could generate a report and clear the log files. but I haven't been able to migrate it to Excel VBA.
I was kind-of hoping that your post would get some responses and I wouldn't have to go through the exercise. When I get a "spare" minute, I'll try to re-visit my earlier attempt and see if I can get it cleaned up. Or, perhaps someone else has already done it??
