I am having a recurring problem with the default character set in
Excel spreadsheets. Without apparent cause, the keyboard characters
are changed. Where I would normally get a "/" I get a strange
character. Double quotations become single quotes. The only way I have
found to fix it is to close the program and restart it. This is
annoying and time-consuming. I hope you can help me.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong to create this condition?

I am using the Harmelink SMF Functions. Could that be the problem?

I used to think so but today it happended in my email program on a new
computer also running VISTA.

John
