Hi All!!!

Does anyone have any good examples of how I can use the MYEXTRACT
function as part of a macro and not just as a function?

I'm trying to extract a word or phrase found somewhere in column A
with a string found in column somwhere in column "B". In my true use
of the function, I have 12,000 rows of data to match.

For example:

A1: Dog
A2: Cat
A3: Man
A4: Woman

B1: The dog bark up the tree
B2: The man-hole was deep
B3: I saw the catwoman movie
B4: I love movies

Expected results (or something close)
C1: dog bark
C2: catwoman
C3: man-hole
C4: catwoman

I was using '=OFFSET(MATCH("*"&MID($B9,1,FIND(" ",$B9)+4)&"*",0)-1,0)
however it case sensitive and if I'm not mistaken MYEXTRACT is not
case sensitive.

If someone can show me how to upload a file for an example, I will.

Any direction is helpful.

Thanks
Michael
