Thanks for the help.

So, as recommended I added the code to the my "dataEnter"
CommandButton like so:

Private Sub dataEnter_Click()
    Day = MovementData.dateDay.Value
    Range("a1") = Day
End Sub

It came back in error when I ran it (compile error, argument not
optional). Bear with me as I barely understand all the concepts here,
but am learning as we speak.

A little more background info:

My userForm has 22 controls - 8 comboBox, 12 textBox, 2 commandButtons
(enter, exit)
The forms purpose is to take data entered into each field and transfer
it to cells in the active sheet. Eventually, I would like the user to
be able to activate the sheet they want, and the userForm would ensure
that the data goes into the next empty row (so that the form could be
started at any time and still add data to the sheet in order). At this
point, however, I would be overjoyed if I could simply copy the form
contents to a single row in the active sheet.

If there is any background info I should read to understand how I can
achieve this result, please point me in that direction as well.

Cheers
C4
