Do as Below : 1. In the word merged document, right click the merged field for which you want to change the format. 2. Click "Toggle Field Code" 3. You will see something like { MERGEFIELD Dollar_Value} where "Dollar_Value" is the merge Field. 4. Append \# #,##0. 5. Right Click and Click Update field and You've done.
