HI Ramesh,

Please find the attached sheet with the solution.

Following is the way to protect a cell.

Select a cell and then choose: Data | Validation | Settings. Change the
'Allow:' drop down box to 'Custom' and then type ="" in the formula box.

However it will allow user to delete the content in a cell. But it will not
allow to edit the content of the cell.
