Tips:

1. Extend the selection in the direction of the arrow key
[Shift]+[→], [Shift]+[←], [Shift]+[↓], [Shift]+[↑]

2. Select the current column
[Ctrl]+[Spacebar]

3. Select the current row
[Shift]+[Spacebar]

4. Select all cells on the current worksheet
[Ctrl]+[A]

5. Reduce the selection to the active cell
[Shift]+[Backspace]

6. Select all the objects on the current worksheet while retaining the
current selection
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Spacebar]

7. Toggle Extend mode on and off
[F8]

8. Toggle Add mode on and off
[Shift]+[F8]

9. Extend the selection to the first or last cell in the data area
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[→], [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[←], [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[↓],
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[↑]

10. Extend the selection to the first cell in the row
[Shift]+[Home]

11. Extend the selection to the first cell in the worksheet
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Home]

12. Extend the selection to the last cell used on the worksheet
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[End]

13. Extend the selection to the last cell with contents in the active column
or row
[End], then [Shift]+[→], [Shift]+[←], [Shift]+[↓], [Shift]+[↑]

14. Extend the selection to the last cell with contents on the worksheet
[End], then [Shift]+[Home]

15. Extend the selection to the last cell in the active row
[End], then [Shift]+[Enter]

16. Extend the selection downward by one screen
[Shift]+[PageDown]

17. Extend the selection upward by one screen
[Shift]+[PageUp]

18. Extend the selection to the first cell in the window
[ScrollLock], then [Shift]+[Home]

19. Extend the selection to the last cell in the window
[ScrollLock], then [Shift]+[End]
