I've come across a problem where I'm extracting data on clocked hours
from our
MRP system and don't quite know how to approach it. In column "B" I
have these
Work Order numbers. The Work Order numbers appear in this column for
every
person that clocks in against the Work Order. Therefore, the same Work
Order
could appear anywhere from one time to roughly 10 times. I have the
sheet
sorted by this column so that the multiple instances of the Work
Orders appear
all together. Over in column "F" I have the dates in which each person
clocked
in against each Work Order. For future repeat project planning,
somehow I need
to get at the number of days that each Work Order was actually clocked
in on
from start to finish.

If any of the clocked in dates are on a weekend, I need
to include that day in my total number of days. If there was no
activity on
either a Saturday or a Sunday, then I need to subtract that day from
my total
number of days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve
