Hello Harmeet, The issue here is to sort the data in valuation tab as per the data in PV tab. I think formulae can not be helpful in sorting the data. Therefore, could anyone write a macro for this???
Please refer to For Your Information tab in my first post below: Here is the points for your quick idea: 1 Macro has to ask/recognize B4:H6 and B11:B14 from PV Sheet (in this case. Actually in may vary) 2 In Valuation tab, Macro has to select entire row for all the names from the first one (Here, the first name starts at A10) 3 Macro should compare the order of each cell content of Column A/B from Valuation sheet with names/IDs in sheet PV 4 If the first name in PV tab exists in Valuation tab column A, the row has to be brought up to the top of the name list 5 If the name does not exist, a row has to be created there and the name & ID should be entered 6 Macro has to request whether update the Headers or not 7 If No, macro has to stop 8 If Yes, it has to perform a lookup from PV sheet and fill up the VALUES in Valuation tab On Sun, Mar 22, 2009 at 6:15 PM, Harmeet Singh <harmeet.hew...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi, > > Due to time constraint couldn't write VBA macro. > Sending you updated file, it has formulas and giving required results.
