If you're a lotto player, you likely know some sites where you can go and enter your chosen numbers to check against the actual winning numbers that played the night before.
I want to turn the tables, since I have about 10 sets of numbers (10 tickets, but most of the time it's 5 sets I play). The numbers will be in one cell. I will enter them in either of two ways: Example: 1 2 3 4 5 6 or, I may enter them: 1-2-3-4-5 6 (the game is played by selecting 5 numbers from the range 1 and 59. And 1 number from the range of 1 and 39. That is one game. I play 5 regularly, and sometimes 10 games). All those numbers, regardless of separation are always in one cell. My spread sheet lists all the numbers regularly play, in case I lose my play slips or something. The goal is to add a macro to my spreadsheet, so I'll be able to find any matches between the the actual winning numbers, and my numbers. Highlight each matching digit to the one I entered, with a different color. In the case of powerball digit, if I matched the 6th number (the powerball number), I'd like to see the background it in red, and number (foreground), in white. I'd like to be able to code it myself, but I'm about clueless.
