Hi all!

I'm looking to protect a number of cells, or, make them 'read only' if
you like dependant on the result of the inpurt from a certain cell.
The spreadsheet I'm composing is to be sent out to a third party for
input so I want to tie down some detail without making it look too
daunting.

To try and put some details here, consider thus

     A      B      C       D
1   True  1      100    %
2   False

So in the above example, if the cell A1 was configured 'True' then
cells B1, C1 and D1 would behave normally and be open to edit.

If Cell A2 is configured False, then cells B2, C2 and D2 would go
blank (or display a message) and the cells would become 'read only' /
inaccessible for edit.

Can this be done easily in Excel?
