Hi, I am new to this group. Came across this group as I was scouting through web for some help in XL. Really amazed with what I am learning from this group. Thanks a million guys.
I have a problem and hope some one may be able to help me with a solution. As a part of my job I keep record of each day's sale in separate files with the respective data as he file name. So for 310 working days I have 310 different files. Now for the coming year I have been asked to generate an analysis in which each day's sale is compared with the sale in the corresponding day of the previous year. Instead of changing links every day using "Find and Replace" command, is there any possble way of doing this using a macro? I was hoping if there is a procedure which shifts the links from one day's file to the next day's file automatically Guys, would be really grateful if some one could help me.
