If you want to use the same sheet that you have sent you can use the formula
=IF(LEFT(A1,10)=LEFT(B1,10),RIGHT(B1,8)-RIGHT(A1,8),RIGHT(A1,8)-RIGHT (B1,8)) When pasted in cell C1 this will calculate the number of hours worked. Set the format of C1 cell to hh:mm:ss and you can see the correct result.
