If you are doing macro coding an array can be a variable that is a
collection of values. It can be one or more dimensions depending on
how it is set up. Check your Visual Basic reference on Dim or
dimension for more info.
It can also be a set of selected values in the EXCEL spread sheet. You
will need to find the Excel reference because I recall selecting the
array values is a tricky manuever with a control or shift key or a
precise coding if you are using the matrix array in a function. One
established you can use the array in matrix equations, allowing you to
do say matrix multiplicatiion or calculating determinants.
