Advance filter is the option without any formulas to remember... below are the steps;
select the data, copy (ctrl+c) go to > data> filter> advance filter select the action tab of - copy to another location click in the box of copy to, to get the cursor blinking and then select the desired cell where u need the final entry, lastly check on the box of "unique records only" and click OK. there it is....u can sort the data alphabetically therafter...
