Use combination of text(A4,"DDDD") and set Vlookup

VLOOKUP(TEXT(D11,"DDDD"),*$F$15:$G$21*,2,0)
*where $F$15:$G$21 =   Monday 1 Tuesday 2 Wednesday 3 Thursday 4 Friday 5
Saturday 6 Sunday 7*

D11 = Date
