I have multiple mail accounts in my Evolution setup, and when I replied to the list as I have just done, I'd missed that the sender was another account. I received a mail that the message was waiting approval, so I cancelled it and forwarded the message in my sent mail to the list. I didn't know it would break things - my apologies.
