Hi Milan,

thanks for the "mailto:"; hint that links to a new mail composer window.

An interesting behaviour is, that after entering a phone number and a
URL (without the https://) you'll see both hyperlinks. But when
entering the "mailto:u...@dom.com";, the mail entry will be shown as
hyperlink. The "tel:" entry remains as hyperlink too. But the hyperlink
of the URL disappears.
Adding the "https://"; to the URL results in hyperlinks of URL and mail
and disappearence of the "tel:" entry. So the mail hyperlink remains
stable.

When I mention the "message body" of the calendar entry, I mean the
description field below the categories field (sorry for being not
precise enough). If I send an meeting invitation the others have less
problems as they see plain text.
The real problem exists, if others invite me with a description
containing a lot of html (or rich text?) content. This is nearly
unreadable (e.g.if they had put information in a table).

An interesting behavior is that you can enter "https://"; and "tel:"
links in the description field (message body) with Outlook and they
will be shown in the calendar enty at evolution. (I had expectet, that
the "tel:" link would disappear but you could click on it).

Rgds,
Matthias

        Hi,
that sounds like a bug. It might need more investigation. Do you really
mean mail message body, in the plain text, or a description of a
meeting, which you send to someone else?

It's "mailto:";, to make it open a new composer window ;) But you do not
need to write it into a message body, because the
n...@dom.com
 is
linkified on its own, without the "mailto:"; prefix.

That landed for 3.38.1+:
