        Hi,
I second this, that's usually the problem when things fail with respect
of the credentials saving.

Ullrich, try to search this archive for "libsecret" and "gnome-
keyring-daemon", this had been discussed here many times recently. For
example, the gnome-keyring-daemon should be running before any
evolution(-data-server) process, especially before the
evolution-source-registry. If you are going to run the keyring daemon
manually, then execute also `evolution --force-shutdown` after it, thus
the processes are restarted. You should also watch the message about
the credentials prompt, it can contain the reason why it asks for the
credentials, if available.
        Bye,
        Milan

P.S.: I'm not going to reply to the private mail you sent me, let's
keep this here, in public. Private mails do not help others, not
talking that they can be lost easily (not only in spam folders), which
would mean you do not receive any response, which would not be
recipient's fault.
