Hi, yes, they do. Dark theme is a challenge with HTML mails, because the sender can override only the text color, but not the background color, or vice versa, in which case the theme colors can make the text invisible or very hard to read. An easy workaround is to select the text, which will use selection foreground and background colors. > * Do we know what is going on/how to fix it? It depends. Evolution tries to use theme colors, to follow the look and feel with the rest of the desktop. That's visible with plain text mails, which work fine. There had been done a fix for partial color inheritance for 3.36.1+ at: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/issues/824 Read the issue through, it contains hints on how to apply other workaround (enable a hidden option to unset "all" HTML colors and use the theme colors also in the HTML mails (it makes rainbow-colored mails just two-color mails)), the same as a way to apply the fix into the current installation.
