I have the behavior you mention--dialog opens with previously selected folder, good. Now I type a couple of letters to select a different folder, and it gets one with the same name from a different one of my "mail<yearxxxx>" folders. Not sure how this behavior could be useful for anyone with a folder tree. Anyway, is the next step to file a bug/enhancement request and ask that when the dialog opens, only the last folder and any folders above it in the tree should be open? Thanks, George Reeke
