Thanks for the replies, What I did was just create an "archive" folder and then (after someone else replied) I then went into each individual account Edit>preferences>individual account>defaults where I set "Archive Folder" to "On this computer/Archive" where "Archive" is the folder I created on "On this computer". This machine has three accounts so I set it the same for all accounts. I thought that I had it except I don't. If I select a message the option to archive the select message (on the top bar) is still greyed out.
I've had a good look over this but can't see what I'm missing. Any further insights welcomed.
