It would also be nice if the option was always present, but nonfunctional if there isn't an attachment. I read the message about it being in the right click drop down and, of course, when I clicked it wasn't there, no indication what so ever. So I went looking specifically for a message with an attachment .. then it appears. Guess I'm too used to having options greyed out rather than removed.
